1: ok on tuesdays i go to dublin for my classes on the bus as i'm scared of driving. it's due to come to my town at 4pm though generally late. (87.5% of the time more then 10 minutes late.) atr half 4, i rang the bus station that the bus gfoes to before it's get to my town. they inform on the phone that there was a timetable change today. they were just given notice of the change just this morning and that the bus is stopping outside the town and not at where it used to stop, where i was waiting

there is a sign at the bus stop which states clearly that a bus to dublin is due at 4pm. obviously bus eireann couldn't be bother updating signs to let people know about time table changes

2: what i do is i get the bus to drogheda (35 minutes away) and get another bus to dublin (1 hour 20 on bus as it stops on every crossroad)

3: i get to dublin at 7pm. as i reach o'connell street (one of the big two streets in dublin) what do i see passing me as i get there. The number 10 bus which is the bus that would bring me to my college place. another one comes in 10 minutes

4: hour late for college

5: finish at 9:15 after 2 hours. reach train station. train to drogheda is just leaving as i reach the platform. another train due in an hour

6: i get a big nose bleed out of the blue

7: clock at train station showing arrival of trains to be 0 for drogheda train at 10:20. no train. where is the train. message comes over intercom saying there is a 30-40 minute delay as a lorry hit a bridge for trains.

8: finally get going at 10:55

9: reach drogheda at 11:55, collected by my mother.

10: home at 12:20. after making lunch, doing washing up. get to bed at 12:40 to be up for half 7 in the morning

what a day. it sucked massively

public transport would drive a man to drive
