View Full Version : 10/29/06 Crying
It was really weird. Monday, at various places, various times, I must have seen four people crying. You don't usually see people crying in public, you know? But to see it 4 times in one day? Thats out of the ordinary I would say. It was weird, I don't know, it made me reevaluate my day, my week...can things be worse? Yes. Can they be better? Sure. I don't know....just wanted to share.
what was the first one like?
maybe after seeing one person crying. you became more perceptive at that point to people crying
like when you hear a word for the first time (or what you think is the first time) and then you hear it alot after that. your brain can only take in so much stimuli at once so obviously some things can blocked out
or i've read too much non-dilbert scott adams books
sorry
Malcolm Wright 10-30-2006, 07:06 AM Hey, off topic but what can you do? Manu, did you ever go on an adventure away from LA for a while, or have you been there the whole time?
Just curious, because I remember we talked about that a while back.

I know what's going on.
It's the end of the world as we know it. :hmm:
*hugs Manu*:(
boedicca 10-30-2006, 10:26 AM Maybe it was because it was really Sunday and you fastforwarded them into Monday and prematurely shortened their weekends.
;)

Could be. Like when you see a new car or you see one billboard, you see them everywhere. That may be the case, but I just usually notice these things.

Never did leave LA. Still here and trucking. I get out of the city now and then for long weekends, which breaks it up, and I am much happier than before, much less wanderlust, but I still do wonder sometimes...

Glad to hear the place is working better for you.
You already know my advice though...
I was in LA yesterday for a few hours between flights. I drove from LAX up to Glendale to buy some equipment, then back to LAX.
I hope the wondering voices keep whispering in your ear! There are so many adventures to be had in the world, and they are best appreciated before our legs start to give out on us!
Best to you Manu!
