That's the difference between the number of people that will be at my brother's halloween party tonight and the halloween party that I am attending in San Francisco. Crazy, huh?

I've never been to a party that big. Or the West Coast. Or San Francisco (kind of redundant). It'll be a new experience.

I got a refund from my former college. Let me pay off my credit card debt and stuff. I had a couple grand left over. Except for one problem. I triple payed my credit card out of pure stupidity and forgetfulness. Effectively froze my bank account. It's being sorted out now. So I have no access to cash right now, but at the time of my trip, I will.
I bought the plane ticket and stuff before that little card snafu. But that's how it goes. Besides, I only had to pay for a hostel and plane ticket. Dirt cheap.

All of San Fran street parties are the same wildness....random middle aged naked guys walking around...fake sex everywhere, pervs video taping you, flamming drag queens that have the best personalities in the world ham it up in front of the cameras, lots of rave music, pretty much looks like a messed up circus in your dreams....they're all great!!!! (of course if u have a friend to come along)

SAN FRANCISCO -- Gunfire broke out between two groups at a massive Halloween street party in the city's Castro district, wounding at least 10 people, including innocent bystanders, police said Wednesday.

The shooting began around 10:40 p.m. Tuesday as authorities were dispersing thousands of revelers under a curfew aimed at controlling the traditionally raucous party.

Two people were detained for questioning, but no one had been arrested early Wednesday, police Capt. Al Casciato said. He said two groups of people had gotten into an altercation before the shooting began.

One victim was listed in critical condition at San Francisco General Hospital.

Yup that's the party we went to. We were there just when it happened. Never even heard the gun shots though. He's fine. The party ended right after that though. Sucked.
