I'm a guy. We don't eat quiche and don't cry.:)

So take my words with a grain of salt or maybe a shaker's worth.

I tend to deal with stress in a combination of inward suffering and the result of that inward suffering is to expell it onto others. When things are going right, that expulsion of anger and frustration hits its source and ceases. However life doesn't always offer that as the best solution and we deal with it.

I've spent a fair amount of time with my jaw set and a pissy look on my face. It's part of life. There's not a lot of appeal in crying, in fact I'm not even sure how that works anymore. It's more a state of being on edge, intolerant of others because you're intolerant with yourself for not being able to solve the source of your irritation.

Life would be so much easier if the source of our unhappiness was available for our retaliations when we need it without reprecussion.

But that's just my take on it.

I read that women cry because they're unable to resolve frustration. They don't beat up their tormenter, they don't search for ways to solve their problems, it becomes too much. I don't know if there's truth to it, but an interesting idea. So I'd say solving your problems are a better solution than crying, but as I prefaced this post, I'm a guy.

Well, I voted "Both"

I cry when I'm hurt (like last week, when two of my friends let me down).

I throw things when I'm angry, but only when I'm extremely angry. Fortunately therre's only one person who has the ability to get me to the point of extreme anger.
