I am too poor to buy chicken, so I used the last of my food (a steak), and some flour, eggs, and vegetable oil that I pilfered from my sister. So good. I miss cooking for others. She makes her own lunch for when she eats at school (she's a teacher), and she's a vegetarian. I don't go in for that sissy crap. Besides, she's really picky, and her boyfriend brings her a meal from his restaurant most nights. And no, I don't go food shopping tomorrow. I finish eating another pound of chicken fried steak tomorrow. The day after that I go to a cultural fest where I get to sample food from all over the world all day. Then I need to go food shopping. Till Thursday, I'm set, and I'll only have to buy food to last me till Tuesday. The mac and cheese wasn't particularly creative. And there wasn't much else. All in all, mediocre. But for free food, I'd say slightly above mediocre. My guess is most people fell through on the dishes. |
