I'm going to be rich by the end of this week.

I worked four hours with my dad yesterday scraping the old paint off of shutters (for $5 an hour), and I'm supposed to work with him for another eight hours painting them....we were going to do that today, but we got rained out.

Aaaaaand.....Elizabeth and Sam's parents called me back, AND THEY WANT ME TO BABYSIT AGAIN! :w00t: I must have done a good job. :D So I'm babysitting them for four hours ($7 an hour--they pay really well ) Friday night.

So combine all that with the $13 I already have, and I'll have $100 at the end of the week. I'm going to put $60 aside for Christmas/birthdays, and play with the rest. :D

Burr's doing a LOT better--they drained a bunch of the fluid out of his head to relieve the pressure. It started building back up again right away, though, so as soon as his immune system is normal he's going in for surgery to get a shunt put in. :w00t:

I might not get to play soccer this season. :( Apparently their aren't enough girls in my age group (or any older girls--they'd usually let me play up) to make up a soccer team....which totally sucks ass. I've never missed a season before. :(

Add that to the fact that the person about the Creative Writing/Spanish classes at Imagine still hasn't called us back like she said she would, and I'm probably not going to have any social life this fall. :P

I've been considering going to Public School for fall of 2007....I really think that since it's something I've never experienced before and won't have the chance to in a few years, I should give it a shot. And besides....if I totally hate it, I can go back to homeschooling the next fall.

Of course, my parents don't really want me to go, so as soon as I tried to talk to my mom about it she snapped, "Well, just because YOU want to go doesn't mean you will."

Because, you know, this decision doesn't have ANYTHING to do with me or what I think. :P :P :P Pissin' me off. >_<

Okay, done ranting/gloating. :hi: :p

That's good to hear that you're a financially responsible individual. :nice: At least your mom did a good job of raising you in that regard. She should let you decide which school to go to, though.

TBH, the only person I talk to on a regular basis is Jess....and the few other friends I have I met through her, and don't see or talk to them much. :hmm:

If the Imagine lady doesn't call us soon, we're going to look into finding something else for me to do over the fall. I'm extremely shy around new people (:P :P :P) which is why I want to get involved with lots of things that FORCE me to be around them alot. Maybe if I'm more used to seeing people all the time, I'll relax a little. :p

Thanks. :D :D :D :D :D :D :)

Yeah....I understood when I was, say, six and seven years old and would bring up wanting to go to school. For one thing I was still too young to appriciate getting to do school work in my pajamas, and for another the place we lived in at the time had a really bad school system (there were lots of shootings, spray painting and the like, etc.).

But we live in a nicer place now with a decent High School, and I'm not little anymore. I've thought about this for a long time and weighed the pros and cons....and I think that not being able to socialize like a normal person isn't worth having a looser school schedual.

*takes breath* Okay, I feel a little better now. :p
