I have been inspired to read the book "The Celistine Prophecy" by James Redfield. Although I am only on the 1st chapter the book has made me think in a different perspective..For example, this quote has me thinking.

"It begins with a heightened perception of the way our lives move forward. We notice those chance events that occur at just the right moment, and bring forth just the right individuals, to suddenly send our lives in a new and important decision. Perhaps more than any other people in any other time, we intuit higher meanings in these mysterious happenings."

Do you think that when things occur that opens up new doors for you, is this a coincidence that you look over, or do you consider it, that this happened for a reason? This suppose to happen this way.
Perhaps this relates to Fate or Randomity, but I would like to know what you think of the issue at hand.

That is a GREAT book.

Well back to what I said, it really just depends. I do believe in some karma/fate but that everything is predestined? Naw.

That is indeed a great book, though the true value of the story can easily be over looked if your heart's not in the right place.
Whats my opinion? hmmm...
I don't put much stock in preordained destiny. Fate exists, of that I have no doubt. However, fate only takes you so far. It's up to you to make it happen. It's not decided what you do for a living or even who you'll fall in love with. Lessons of life are around every turn you make and it's up to you to have the insight to learn from the challenges put infront of you. He who doesn't trust will not earn the trust that he seeks. He who does not take the time to experince life will not life the life that they wish for. He who doesn't learn true love will never have the relationship they desire. There are plenty of ways to look at it. The effects that you impose on others will have their most profound impact on your own person. What an ideal way for life to teach you about yourself. Its up to you to use that knowlege however you see fit. In that sense fate hits us all it's just a matter of what you do with it. http://discussanything.com/Ubb/smile.gif

I am gonna have to agree with 69Mach on this. Being he is the one who has inspired my new outlook on life. I don't overlook things that happen in my life. I know that they happen for a reason, and what I choose to do will determine what will happen next.
Anyone else have any feelings on this?

As my man says about us-
"Everyday, I think to myself how lucky I am
to have you, but then I remember that it is not luck, but something much more Divine.Luck insinuates accident, and that simply does not do us justice!"

He's amazing http://discussanything.com/Ubb/wink.gif
