let death welcome me slowly into it's arms. warm and soothing. at once comforting and again familiar. a friend once lost and again regained.

let my body become, once again, a part of its roots. my hair and fingernails lost into the rubble of the soil. my hair lost into the wind and carried into the unknown and reacquainted with its previous home.

let my loved ones and friends remember that this is where they found me, once before in a time no longer remembered. that they once claimed me here. let them find comfort in my regaining my previous place in the earth that once spawned me and that i will one day return as this, that or the other.

let death welcome me back into it's familiar arms. slowly and recognizable to reacquaint me with the home where i once lived. in the soil. in the leaves. in the sea and earth. let me remember and then forget and migrate forward.

let death be a welcome home to friends once lost and then refound and not a sad goodbye for all to forget and then move on.
