Taking a look at this place (http://www.rent.com/rentals/california/los-angeles-and-vicinity/sherman-oaks/472149/) on Saturday. Maybe more if other places call me back.

So, update. We wound up taking the 2-bedroom apartment in this place. Roomie and I are still assembling our lives and such, and there is a massive lack of furniture at the moment (we both basically moved bedrooms and nothing else), but over the next few weeks I'll be obtaining many things from family. Yay family! :woohoo:

Internet gets hooked up on Thursday sometime. Basic cable, too. :shrug: Whatever. It's TV. At least I'll get to watch my X-Files late at night on TNT though. :)

I think it's gonna be a good place. I'm close to some of my best friends, and my girlfriend's only about 10 miles away (as opposed to the 40 she was when I lived in Torrance).

Now I need to get myself established as a massage therapist, and I'm golden. Writing career, here I come!
