just think, next time you see a health care "proffessional", you may get an idiot lik this...
woman calls 911, when we get there, she explains that she's a doctor, she's dehydrated, and has been trying to start an iv on herself for the last hour...
man calls 911, when i get there, he explains that he's having a stroke (as he's walking around packing a bag to take to the hospital), he knows this because he's a nurse, and he insists on going to the hospital where he works, even though it is not a stroke facility...
my personal favorite...
the emergency room at the va hospital call 911, because a woman in active labor has arrived in their er, and they (several nurses, 2 residents, and a dr) don't know how to deliver a baby!!!!:eek2: are you shitting me!? that's an emt basic skill!! not to mention its pretty much a basic life function that pretty much happens on its own...
just remember this next time you see a health care "proffessional". :nonono:
