Has anyone read any of the books that were a spin off from the series? I can't decide which to buy and I don't want to get a sucky series especially since they're so danged expensive it seems.

So, have you guys read any of the books? I think I am most interested in what happens to Centauri Prime.

I read the 3 or 4 books that detail what eventually happened to the Psi Corp and Bester. Though, I should mention, they milk it for all its worth by not saying anything about Leela and leaving it for another book (or whatever the red head is called...been awhile since I've seen the series).
The story itself was interesting, but the writing was horrible. I don't know if this is true of all the Babylon 5 books of course. I'm glad I read them, but I wasn't interested in buying more.

Thanks for the reply. I'll try out the Centauri Prime trilogy then. I will eventually get to the Psi Cops, I would not mind knowing what happened to Lyta after she left w/G'Kar.

Just remember that the books which cover Bester's life do NOT tell you what happened to Lyta. They make her story seperate from the Psi Corp/Bester story for some reason.

Hmm, I wonder what book tells you what the heck happens to Lyta. There are also 9 or 10 books that spinned off the series, sans the two trilogies (psi corps and centauri prime)... I'll have to read reviews on them.
