Do middle east countries sponser terrorism?

If not where do the terrorists get their guns, money, training facilities and mosques to preach terror-Islam?

Some do, some do not.

The Saudis do it by proxy with their funding of Wahaabist ideology.

Iran does it directly by funding, organizing and operating terror groups that spread across the Mid East and farther. It is state policy for both Iran and Syria to fund and organize terrorist groups as well as give them places to organize and train.

Saddam was a state sponsor of terrorism, too. He paid Hammas bombers and allowed various members of Al Qaeda to stay in his country (Zarqowi, for instance) previous to our invasion.

Yes. So does the U.S., too. The U.S. relies on terrorism as much as Al Quada does, especially in South America, Africa, and Asia.

In fact, many of the Islamic terrorist groups got their starts under U.S. aid and arms programs in the ME; the Taliban and Al Quada, to name two, got their start in Afghanistan, with U.S. aid against the Soviets.

What is your question? Yours above is a fraction of a question, but not a full one!

So, what question do you think war might be the answer to would you like to pose?

It's a large part of our "war on terrorism", and BA has been screaming that loudly lately.

"The American people expect this government to protect our constitutional liberties and at the same time make sure we understand what the terrorists are trying to do," Bush said. He said that to figure out what terrorists plan to do, "You try to follow their money. And that's exactly what we're doing and the fact that a newspaper disclosed it makes it harder to win this war on terror."

Frankly I agree with him on this. That is if I could trust the govt. to only go after bad guys, which I don't. The power of the US to arm twist the financial system of the world is pretty powerful. They managed to cow Banks into not allowing Arab money to go to Hamas in Palestine, so that they've had to use other methods.

In Iraq much of the money going to insurgents and jihadis is coming from smuggling it across Syria. Potential suicide bombers arrive with cash gathered from Mosques in Arabia. The Shia militias who attack the US are getting it from Iran. All they have to do is walk across the border!

But we still have to take them out when we can identify them and isolate them, such as zarqawiscum, because it's so satisfying!
