What do you think of Samuel Huntingtons Hyposesis of Clash of CIvilizations. Do you think that the future of Ir will be described by missunderstanding clashes and wars?? Are we all really that different??

I think that Huntington's "clash" represents another failed attempt (like "the end of history") by neoconservative academics and think-tank generals to distort reality by dressing up old fashioned conflicts caused by failed policies in the guise of "big ideas." These ideas haven't so much been refuted by the opposition as exposed by reality.
