The Republican majoirty in Congress has held up extension of the 1965 Voting Rights Act because some Congress people claims it puts the South under unfair scrutiny[I guess they can't comprehend that if you have the worse history of the offense you are going to be scrutinized more,anyway,why would one be opposed to the scrutinity if they are not going to violate the law in the first place?].
I mean this is a scream,many Republicans are touting Condi Rice but she can vote in her native state of Alabama only because of this law,in fact one of her best friends was killed in a bombing of a Brimingham Church by people not wanting her [or anybody who looks like her] to vote.:mad:
And the Republicans are trying to appeal to Blacks?
