My Grandma Laura (Burr's mama), aunt Samantha, and two of my second cousins on that side are going to the ATL for my other cousins Migule and Finn's b-days (they're really close together). And they want me to go, too.

I don't wanna go, but I went ahead and said I would. I think I need to atleast try...I can't avoid them my entire life (well, I CAN, but I'd rather not).

It's only for four days, but I get SO uncomfortable around the side of the family--everyone acts like they know me, yet I can barely remember them. :p

I'm scared I'm going to screw up and say something perverted or stupid in front of the wrong people. :P My mom's talking it over with Laura right now, though, so that she can give me warning when to keep my snickering to myself. :p

Most important things to bring:

iPod (back up Disturbed CD and discman in case battery dies)

Cell phone (for calling mom and texting my friends)

Books (incase I can't sleep at night)

Notebook/pencils

Video camera (for recording whenever I'm bored, and taping the little kids :D )

I think I'm gonna live through this trip. At any rate, if the adults are making me REALLY uncomfortable, I can play with the little kids or the baby (Finn's only about to turn one). :)

Haha. Camp starts on July 16th, and I come home on the 21st. ^_^

I'm going to Atlanta on Thursday (as in the day after tomorrow). That's part of the reason I freaked out when I was first invited--it's just so soon, and I only had a couple hours to decide. :hmm:

I think I'll live though. :p My mom explained all my concerns to Laura and everything, she even told them how I don't eat much meat. She really wants me to go (though she told me she wouldn't MAKE me), so she's doing everything she can to make me comfortable. She's even gonna take me to the library tomorrow so that I'll have plenty of books with me. :D
