Just read an interesting article about how popular "spoiled brat" reality shows are. They mentioned a bunch of those MTV shows (can't even recall the names), all those "hook up with me" shows, and The Simple Life.

You know, out of ALL of those types of shows, I'd probably be most inclined to watch TSL because it's actually got a bit more going for it in terms of humor, story (even if it's not the most "realistic" of reality), and characters who are such "bad girls" they're almost hard not to like. I don't know people like them in my own real life, so maybe that's why there's an appeal. I saw a little bit of an episode on E! earlier and have to admit it was pretty funny. Surprising to me, since it's three or four seasons in now!
