It was a long week following the most glorious digit day. Friday I hung out with Priya. I had not seen her in like 6 months. I am not sure if there have been 6 months since she's been alive that we've not seen one another, at least in passing. Weird to think. We had a good time. We ate garlic fries, drank beer, drank more, smoked, and hung out. We finished the night with late night Quesadillas after a marvelous time at Philly West.

We woke up late the next morning in a wonderful post drinking haze. I actually woke up at 9 when Richard Fincke of the Fountain People called me to give me an update on the fountain and where we were. Great. Maybe I will be more useful once I have at least 3 hours of sleep. I went back to bed and then woke up around noon. I called Grub, made reservations at which time I was notified by Irene that there was no spicy beef. No worries, today was a brunch day. PT and Avidan and I rocked some grub, a nice lazy brunch and then i headed over to Nate's to help Joe with a laptop issue.

We got him straightened away and then sat down to play some card games. Just as we got started, there was a work emergency trouble ticket. I realize, in retrospect, there was no incentive or real cause for me to answer the ticket other than responsability...I hate having a work ethic sometimes. I had to pack up, head to Hollywood and then Downtown and then Hollywood, then Agoura to meet Nate Stern. The work emergency wasn't as bad as I thought, I could have been on site for hours, but I was just onsite for 30 minutes. The main thing was driving time. I am the King of IT afterall and I got the issue fixed quick.

Nate and I had a massive meal at BJs. I don't know what we were thinking when we ordered food, but it must have been with our stomachs and not our heads. I ended up getting like 2 meals out of everything, and a midnight snack. Amazing. We hung out some more, Nathan came over, and we watched The Salton Sea, a good Val Kilmer movie. (what happened to that guy?)

Sunday was babysitting. Ritu picked up Anshul, Priya came over, and aside from sherking on changing a diper, I did well I think. The kid is so amazing. I love him to death. I've not been in love in a while...but the feeling of loving a child almost surpasses the romantic love I've ever experienced. Almost. He wants to learn everything. he wants to try everything. He wants to play and laugh all the time. Its such a beautiful age.

I ended up going home and cleaning my apartment. Well, my room and bathroom, not sure if it has ever been this clean or this 'moved in.' Ironic, considering I may move in a few months. but it is nice for now. It took 3 hours, but the room is awesome, the closet is clean, and the bathroom is flawless. Good times.

Tonight I got dinner with the Cannis' and hung out at their place. Tiffany had never had Indian food, so it was a neccessity that we go. I always have a wonderful time with them. It is great seeing Mark not stressed too, he took his boards on Monday, so he is mentally free for a few weeks until classes start again.

Otherwise, I have been in that same boat of trying to figure out life. Work, living, love. It is a tough combination to be dealing with at once. My response is usually to ignore it, but it is starting to catch up I feel.

I did have a weird piece of mail. I bought a CD from a local band, Satisfaction, I saw them open for Ozma, same nerdy, indie rock feel. On the CD they wrote "Manu, I dig your work. Keep in Touch." Being funny? Connection from a long lost something? Who knows, but was weird and fun none the less.
