silly me. silly, silly me, who believed them for a time until i decided that i will leave when i am good and ready.

that wasnt the first time i died. oh no, for many times i tried to choose my own ending. living a lie that i believed for far too long believing that time is a commodity, that time is not everlasting. my petty concept of time was so bitterly misunderstood. time was taking away what was mine. or so i assumed.

it took me far too long to become accustomed to this body of mine that needs manipulation in order to be of any use. this mind of mine that seems to waver to and fro. so weak i was.

it took so long to gain perspective to realize my potential. far too long.

"you will leave us, marie. you will leave us all. dont fear it." he said, stethoscope in hand. "you must grow accustomed to that fact."

"no, i wont. no, i dont have to. this is my world. this is my place for now. this is not the time. i will choose my own time." i repled.

my time here is not so short, you see. i have eternity. i have eternity. i have you. i have me. i have it all.
