I am quickly becoming obsessed with him. :|

He is so fracking talented. I kinda dug the White Stripes, thought they were hip and cool. Now, he has a new band called 'the Raconteurs' ..... :eek7: :eek3: :| They are so good. Even my husband likes them, and he hates everything not related to jam bands :p Their album, Broken Boy Soldiers, is one of the most amazing pieces of music I've listened to in my life.

He is part McCartney, part Robert Plant ( he channels him in Blue Veins ), part Prince, Part Blind Melon, part Micheal Jackson, part genuis.

Jack White is the shit! I almost soiled myself when I heard about the Raconteurs as I'm a big fan of Brendan Benson. :D Check out his album 'La Palco' - it's pretty poppy, but it's good stuff!

I have a lot of his songs on my ipod. :nice:

i'm a Brendan Benson fan myself so i am looking forward to getting the album (though i've not yet ordered it)

i wouldn't be much of a fan of White Stripes but i did havew tickets to see them once but couldn't go due to a doctor's appointment (i was in agony. i'm not overstating the pain. could barely walk)

Lapalco (all one word) is a great album

just listened to the album, and damn SS, I loved it. got more of a 60's sound. jack white is very creative. and its nice to hear him in a band with bass and even keys. very nice guitar work too, and some of the songs have a beatle like quality. exellent.
