Was indeed a f**ked up day! I have to put my thoughts somewheres so I may sort them out.
So I take the wife and kids to my mom and dads house for dinner and a 'lil visit. Pop tells me hes having trouble retrieving his voicemail. Mom tells me my lil sis had helped with the initial setup. So I call her for the password. Let me give a little background before I continue...... my dad does not like my sisters significant other for reasons that shall not be disscussed on this board. anywho..... I'm all
"Hey kiddo, dad tells me hes having trouble retrieving his voice mail."
"That sucks, does he remember the password?"
"Nah, mom said you helped him with it, so I was hoping that you might remember it."
"I didn't set his up. I set moms up. What are you guys doing"
"Well we're here at mom and dads, chillin' just finished dinner. Dads here, ya wanna say hi?" honestly, I just thought that dad could be civil.
"Sure"
Well, their conversation did not go swimmingly. Some things were said, feelings hurt. And I'm pretty sure I ended up looking like some kind of A s s h o l e for putting them in a position where they had to talk. I did not mean to hurt anybodys feelings and I am not trying to interfere with their relationship. The father/daughter relationship is strained (put mildly) at this point. I just feel like I'm the bad guy all of a sudden.:nonono:

don't be so hard on yourself. It's not your fault they're fighting.. words between them are going to fly sooner or later.
