Has anyone seen this movie? I know it has Val Kilmer and Robert Downey Jr. but last i heard it was in theatre's last year sometime. I saw a poster for it at my local Video King and it looks descent. Its a 'Crime Comedy' and i love those kind of movies, so should i rent it first or just buy the DVD on June 13th?

Shane Black is awesome no matter what he does. If you could stomach the dialogue in "The Last Boy Scout", and who can't ("You're nobody"...*in response* "Shhh...don't tell anyone"), then it's definitely something to look forward to. Buy it. You won't be disappointed.

I'm very picky in my ratings, and I gave it 4 out of 5 stars after watching it on Netflix - definitely worth a watch, at the very least.

I wasn't sure whether I would like it but decided to give it a go - well worth it. :nice:

Excellent movie, both leading actors, downey and kilmer showed their acting chops and really their worth to the industry in this movie. If they don't get more leading roles as a direct result of this movie I would have to say the industry just didn't pay attention. I loved the film noir atmosphere and dark witty comedy, I gave it 5 out of 5 on netflix but I bought the dvd after i rented it.
