GI JOE!
except i didnt have any.

my other favorite toys were my mom's lipsticks. i'd write all over the walls with those.

i also really enjoyed those erector sets. and.. oddly enough, books!
I didnt get a barbie until I was wayyy older. Up until then I had gotten the knock offs y'know? like multi ethnic barbies with the hollow insides and I'd pop 'em off and whatnot.

still, i always wanted a gi joe.

I love toys, I have to play in the house, cause its looks funny to see a old man playing with cars, and Lego's. I wish they made big wheels for adults. Or what about those swinging chairs you wind up, oh and what about those bouncing chairs that hang from the ceiling

I really dug the Castle Greyskull that came with a tub of slime. And those Boglins. :D And my cousins' talking Pee-Wee Herman... and this Egon Spengler toy - I carried it around with me quite a bit:

Oh, and a few years later, I had this keychain that made ten different sounds, like a telephone ringing and a bomb dropping and then exploding (DEEDLYDEEEDLYDEEDLYdeedlydeedly....sppoooooosssss hhhh!!!). Actually, you can hear that sound at the end of 'Superstylin'' by Groove Armada. Anyway, that thing was cool. I thought that was the coolest, most high-tech gadget on the planet. :D

And I had a Bogo ball that I loved. It was pink and purple and shaped like Saturn. :nice:

A rabbit and a chimpanzee....still have both of them....

One unrequited wish was a barbie doll. I loved barbies but never owned one. Then i went and bought one when i was 15, just to say I have one. Now I have sadly outgrown them. sigh. i guess i was a neglected child,

Oh and a motorbike. One that I could actually ride. It was a police bike. I gave it to a little cousin so I have no idea where it is anymore.

And of course Lego. I could have given any architect a run for his money with the houses I planned and built.

I had no toys as a child.
I didn't have good parents. Still don't.

A legendary box for legendary soldiers.
Kick any Gi-Jo's Ass, and then carve its initials on it with a Kukri...

That, plus Medieval legos. I had combined every castle set into a gigantic castle...

Every now and then, I'd get out my notebook and design outfits for my Barbies that resembled what one might wear to a glam rock concert back in the day. (Some of those actually looked more like slutwear! ;) ) Never made any of those, because the materials just weren't available around the house.

Based on the outfits I did make for them, they turned out to be some really cool looking hippie chicks!!!! :D

This is very sweet - I love handmade toys. They are much more personal.

I dislocated my hip when I was a little girl and spent a long time in half a body cast. A couple who lives a few houses down the street made me a tiny cradle and bedding for a little doll. (They had three boys, so I was a surrogate daughter.) I still have this little set - it is very sentimental.

For one glorious summer my grandmother let me keep a refrigerator box on the screened in porch. My mermaid doll, my dog, and I LIVED in that thing!

Some of the best toys aren't prepackaged.

My neighbors and I had a big lot in the driveway area behind our houses. The boys would grab wood, cardboard boxes, and whatever else could be found that people would dump back there and build forts and clubhouses in a corner of the lot.

My girlfriends and I would always invade when the boys weren't around! :D

I had a lot of toys but I never played with them. I used them more for decoration. I guess my favorite "toys" were a collection of animal statue figurines.
