i say a dull shovel.....too dull to dig, but perfect for bashing people over the head.
perhaps if everyone just completely ignored her, she'd go away.
i'll await posts referencing her genius for continually reinventing herself and remaining viable.
fat mike 05-23-2006, 01:59 AM Lol-she's not all that,as they say-her well dried up some time ago.
i'll await posts referencing her genius for continually reinventing herself and remaining viable.
I don't think she has any fans here,Buddy...
Keylia 05-23-2006, 03:52 AM I could agree with vindex. Everything about Madona is like an info-mercial for a dull shovel.
flaming_liberal 05-23-2006, 03:58 AM I'd compare her to a hoe, personally. And not just for the pun.
Jay GW 05-23-2006, 05:47 AM isn't she like 55 years old?

No_Brakes 05-23-2006, 10:32 AM I just looked it up - she turns 48 in August.
Got something against older women!?
DngrMse 05-23-2006, 10:40 AM She has the best Fake British Accent of all the ex-pat American performers!
vindex 05-23-2006, 10:43 AM I'd compare her to a hoe, personally. And not just for the pun.
i like that. she's constantly churning up and recycling used dirt.

Got something against older women!?
No, I have something against any person of any age or gender who acts the way she does and sings as horribly.
No_Brakes 05-23-2006, 02:42 PM The question was for Jay.
flaming_liberal 05-23-2006, 03:29 PM i like that. she's constantly churning up and recycling used dirt.
And like you said, she's shallow and dull.
fat mike 05-23-2006, 11:34 PM And like you said, she's shallow and dull.
More and more of the media "draws" are...who was it that said "you'll never go broke underestimating the American public"?
boedicca 05-23-2006, 11:38 PM A friend of mine had the grim task of taking her two nieces to see the Madonna concert at the LA Forum. It set a new low for Total Suckage. It should be a contradiction in terms for controversy to be utterly banal - but this is Madonna's great contribution to Pop Culture.
fat mike 05-23-2006, 11:56 PM She's a glorified stripper,for crying out loud..

DngrMse 05-24-2006, 01:01 PM Why is it you almost never see the words 'vulcanized', and 'labia' in the same sentence? Unless Madonna is the subject matter?
Listen, Madonna, your shtick is as tired, flabby and old as your vulcanized labia.
The guys over at nicedoggie are not impressed with her latest. http://www.nicedoggie.net
BTW, I'm only posting this because 'vulcanized labia' cracks me right the hell up.
boedicca 05-24-2006, 01:24 PM Bloody Brilliant. I approve:
You want to really turn yourself into an icon against established religion? You want to hear your name whispered in awe of your bravery? You want to become a crusader against dogma and the establishment? Go ahead, because there’s your chance. Stand up, just for once in your miserable, useless life, to something and somebody likely to actually strike back rather than shake their heads in pity.
But of course you won’t do such a thing. That would require actual bravery and, as we all know, the only “bravery” exhibited among the feckless, “progressive” cowards is the kind that doesn’t involve any actual, you know, risk.
That’s why we don’t see any progressive “feminists” crusading against sexism and oppression under the “Religion of Peace (Our Imperial Ass).”
That’s why we constantly have to listen to you “progressive” *******s moaning and whining about “gulags” and “oppression of free speech” in America while you can’t find it in yourselves to utter a word about the very REAL gulags in Cuba.
That’s why you’re only too happy to puke and crap in the streets of the U.S. of A. where you won’t ever face any charges for your actions while not a single one of you has tried doing the same in a REAL dictatorship.
That’s why you’ll treat any criticism of the “Da Vinci Code” as a sure sign of the coming American Theocracy while you’ll utter not a word about people being murdered, embassies being burned down and countries being boycotted over a bunch of innocuous cartoons.
Because you’re cowards. All of you.
Miserable, worthless, pitiable cowards.
You’ll fight, you’ll stand up and be counted, but only if nobody’s giving enough of a shit about you to actually do the counting.
You disgust me.
You’re pathetic, the whole sorry lot of you.
Guido 05-24-2006, 02:22 PM Although she has no talent for music, her skills in marketing are beyond doubt. It's quite incredible that she still draws crowds to her performances, which are basically light shows and dance routines accompanied by programmed synthesizers.
vindex 05-24-2006, 02:53 PM Bloody Brilliant. I approve:

if we could only somehow get dr. phil or oprah to say the same things......the face of america would change.
