My sister contends that 22 in a male is the beginning of unfettered egotism. What do you think, Monster?

I think that I've been egotistical since I was 18. :p

Others on here who know me in real life will probably agree.

Do you think this has affected his sense of humor?

Monster

Hah. No, it's merely the fact that it's Monday and I don't want to be at work that's affected that.

:P

Enjoy your 22nd year, friendo. Sexually (for men), it's all down hill from here.

Unless, of course, you are an Alpha Male.

22 isn't useless!

But the question is, did you learn anything this past year?

an older violinist loses the energy and passion of youth but grows in the knowledge of his instrument and the feelings become richer and darker...

Every birthday after 21 is useless. It's just another number at this point.

Each birthday is just one more year of being able to legally purchase and consume Alcoholic Libations!

At 25, I can rent a car, and my auto insurance drops.

THAT one I'm looking forward to.

That's true.

Although I was renting cars before I turned 25. I think that one's a myth.

But the car insurance definitely drops once you hit 25.

Depends on the rental company. From what I've heard (from my sister, who was in the Navy at the time she need to rent one) there are a couple that will not rent to anyone under 25, with the exception of active duty military personnel.

Most rental companies will now rent to anybody 21 or older, but the cost of insuring the rental car is insanely high. Most times it only happens when a corporation secures the rental.

I celebrated my 21st birthday in New York City.

Ironically, the drinking age there was only 18 then.
