I was cleaning. Shocking, I know. But sometimes it just has to be done. I was going through old drawers, files, under my desk, behind the bed, just wanted to get rid of a lot of crap. I have done a decent job. When I do a before and after double take, it looks great. But when I look at it with fresh eyes, it still has a long ways to go. At least I can see the top of my desk and the floor of my room and closet. Unfortunately, a fair amount of 'cleaning' has just been identifying what stuff I want to take to my parents house.

But, enough with boring sundries, in my adventure of cleaning I've found some items of note....

I found black lipstick. this must be 6 years old now. Its from when Cheryl, Willie, Chris and I went to see The Cure. It was my freshman year of college and my first time seeing The Cure. Willie dressed punk. Cheryl a bit goth with a dog collar around her neck, chris normal, I wore black lipstick, eye liner and did my hair in a different fashion.

I also found a Dr. Pepper bottle given to me by jody, I believe from Mexico. We both shared a deep love for the Dr, and she had a bottle of it on a trip down there and brought it back for me.

I also found a book, loaned to me by Kasey. I had finished it like 6 months ago, but its sat collecting dust by my bed since then...

My, how times change.

I am cleaning my room too this week. It's just after finals, and I move to DC this sunday, so this week is all about cleaning and packing.

I just threw out 3 garbage bags worth of paper and notebooks, from classes I took more than 2 years ago. I am also giving away lots and lots of books.

This really is going to take ALL week! (awesome black lipstick, and eyeliner does look rather good on guys, especially indian guys)
