I remember, back in the early '80's or so, at a VERY elegant Sunday Brunch Buffet....seeing two young ladies.......mid-20's or so.........indulging to several helpings of the cuisine they desired........but NOT EATING ANY..:confused:

Merely going up to the buffet for multiple helpings of food and such, and then wrapping said food up in napkins in full view of all the other patrons...all whilst sitting and chatting and laughing....:eek:

That is, until the Head Chef emerged from the kitchen .. looked the situation over .. and VERY STERNLY ordered the pair: "GET OUT!":eek3:

The two very meekly rosse from the table and exited the dining emporium....without saying another word....and WITHOUT any of the food they were hoarding.

You see, it was their OBVIOUS intention to trundle back & forth to the buffet and secure as many items as they possibly could to "take away" for later use...with NO INTENTION of ANY on-premises dining.....:mad:

It's things like these that kinda keep the prices of certain dining emporiums at a PREMIUM.....:(

Even the more "ECONOMICAL" ones....:hmm:

"...it is folly to waste while hungry women and children don’t have enough to eat." Um, only women and children get hungry? Oh, wait, only males are protected from adverse circumstances!
