How does a law become federal. And it also seems that once it becomes law,it always stays that way.How do you abolish a Federal Law,is their anyway to do that?? Or is it set in stone. I have noticed that when the Federal Gov. throws money at the state, they fall.Example of this is here in Kentucky, We had a seatbelt law from the state, you could not get pulled over if you where not wearing it, but if you got pulled over, you recieved a ticket if you where not wearing it.Then the Federal Gov. says we will give you 11 million dollars for your highway, if you change the law.Now the new law passed by the Federal,is they can pull you over if you are not wearing your seat belt. I mean c'mon,I wear my seat belt already,so I don't have much to worry about. But I think this takes away valuable work from the police.

Money talks, are politicians are the most successful panhandlers on Earth.

Begging for money comes with the job, and the art of obtaining it has been perfected.

Federal laws are passed by Congress & they can be abolished like any other law - by Congress passing a new law.

Highways fall under federal jurisdiction & an in-state roads under the jurisdiction of the particular state they happen to pass through.
