I did not know this.

When he was mayor of Tehran, Iran's current president Mouhmad Ahmadinejad refused to allow the Sunnis to construct their own mosque.

There are functioning Sunni mosques in Rome (home of the Vatican and those intolerant Christians), Tel Aviv (that's in Israel, the so-called "apartheid" state), and Washington DC (the capital of the Great Satan herself).

But not in Tehran, Iran. Shiite worship only.

This is a pretty good article:

It sounds like Mouhmad Ahmadinejad is not so crazy after all since as demonstrated in Iraq, when critical mass is reached, the sunny/shit civil war restarts. But if he were consistent, he was also ban the shits.

Uh, the point is that Ahmadinejad is actively trying to start a Sunni/Shiite civil war, Snout.

It's okay....I know it's early.

But when either the sunnys or the shits are contained, the civil war is put on the back burner and is dormant. If they are both loosed, civil war is inevidable.

Untreated dormancy is a recipe for malignancy.

Ahmadinejad just seems hell-bent on provoking whoever he can; whether it be Israel, America or minority factions in his own country. Then again, that has been the standard modus operandi of Iran's mullahs for at least a decade or two. I guess it all goes along with subscribing to a totalitarian ideology like Islamic fundamentalism. Now they just have some stooge in a Members Only jacket doing it for them.
