It was incredibly boring. Horowitz unfortunately is not a very good public speaker and was unable to convey anything intelligently. Churchill appears to be somewhat insane and speaks in convoluted, run-on sentences, but he seemed to make some points regarding free speech. I have to give the nod to the insane dude.

It seems when they debate the one we think is on our side seems to get amnesia . I wonder why they don't tell it like it is .

I don't know much about Churchill, but Horowitz is a pitiful excuse for a human being. It seems like almost all these people who promote themselves as having "switched sides" end as pathetic caricatures. The marketing angle is to claim some kind of special inside knowledge because "I was once one of them, so I'm an automatic expert," etc. The fallacy is to assume that some sort of expert knowledge is needed to evaluate political arguments; it isn't, so the turncoat's claim to a privileged insight is empty. It's a cheap way to garner publicity, relying on one's personal identity rather than on the merits of one's views.

Personally, I think that someone who "switches sides" is almost always someone who never had any real convictions to begin with and therefore is best ignored.

People like Horowits, who go from the extreme left to the extreme right, are just unstable extremists.

Man, when Ward Churchill was on Bill Mahers show, he was made to look like the trash that he is.

I looked at Ward Churchill and have heard some of his claims about his ancestry. He seems to be a person suffering from an identity crisis. David Horowitz: neocon. For me that's all that needs to be said.

Well.

THAT was a nice way of saying Churchill is a lying scumbag.

I don't know much about Churchill,

He's the Native American professor who claimed that the people who died on 9/11 were "Little Eichmanns" who deserved to die.

Eh, I dunno. Horowitz didn't switch sides because of "publicity" from what I gather... I've read it was because he basically became disillusioned with what he'd been doing after the Black Panthers (who he'd been involved with) murdered a woman who was working for them who he'd recommended or something like that.

That I find his politics unbearable is beside the point.

I've noticed that about Horowitz. He doesn't like the camera - even when Hannity had him on to plug his book, The Professors, Horowitz was nervous as a cat and nearly inarticulate. You can't get any more softball on TV, than Hannity helping you plug your book.

Colmes would have made mincemeat out of him.

Horowitz needs a front man, he really should not do these things he has no talent for. His talents are editing and fundraising.

He's the Native American professor...

See. Here's the problem. He is NOT "native American". He has NO Indian blood in him AT ALL. He is a liar. Plain and simple.

DO try to keep up with what is being talked about, Snouter.

This Churchill idiot is CLAIMING to be an American INDIAN. Don't waste our time with your game of find the native. We aren't talking about semantics here. Churchill CLAIMED to be an Indian.

Get with it, huh?
