Hey everyone. I just wanted to give those in the area a heads up for a fundraising event for a non profit organization that my family and I are involved in, India Friends Association (http://www.indiafriendsassociation.com). I designed and maintain the website and help with other tasks.

IFA is a US based organization that supports grass roots changes in India. Their activities involve criminal reform, government reform, education in rural areas, agriculture help, and other means of quality of life. The key goal of IFA is to NOT give hand outs but to teach and empower people to help themselves.

It is amazing to see how a monetary amount as little as 1500 dollars can completely turn around the quality of life in a rural village when used properly.

Archana is IFAs main fundraising event for the year, this one event will fund almost all of the activities. Please take a moment and check out this flyer and the IFA website. If you're free Saturday the 15th, you should come out, or if you want to donate any amount, just let me know!
