yeah, on a basic level, I do love her. She makes me mental and I really hate some of the things that she does, but I do love her.

She's quite a bit of a snob, rather judgemental, but has a compassionate and generous heart. Put it this way, she'll do charity work as long as she never has to encounter "those people" for whom the charity benefits.

I remember being spanked only once when I was a child, (which no doubt accounts for my deficiency of character as an adult. ;) )
My brother and I took a bunch of my Dad's tools and made a lovely dirt pit in the back yard. (I think I was maybe 8) Of course, we left the tools in the lovely dirt pit and it rained and the tools rusted and when questioned about it, we used the standard lame lie of the small child, "I don't know".
We were given a choice between a spanking or not going trick or treating for Hallowe'en. I was all set to take the no candy but my brother, (who had a few whacks under his belt already), convinced me to take the spanking. Mom smacked me 5 times with a wooden spoon, burst into tears and hugged me and told me how sorry she was.

Who cares? It's an interesting enough question, I suppose.

My mother's eyes were hazel. On the other hand, my dad's eyes are such a dark shade of brown that for years I thought they were black!

My eyes are dark brown, though not as dark as his.

Ironically enough, (and this is completely off topic and just a little science factiod that you might like), blue and brown are the only genes for eye color, brown being the dominant gene. All other eye colors are mutations.

look closer......dark brown, most of 'em. True black is the absence of all color and it's a very rare mutation that all the rods and cones of an eyball have no color.

oh ok. when i think of a brown eyed person, i usually think hazel or chestnut.

My mom rules. She's smart and funny, kind, compasionate, loving. She's a bit racist, but mostly only towards her own race. We sound almost exactly alike on the phone; there's only a few people who can tell us apart, and our laughs are almost identical too. She's the most down-to-earth, wonderful woman I know. <3

I definitely look like my mother, but I'm the spitting image of my grandmother when she was my age. It's awesome.

My hands and feet are entirely my own. No one in my family has hands or feet like mine. :shrug:

I think it was my dad who did most of the actual spanking. We didn't get it a lot (we had a wooden spoon too O.o). I'm sure my mom swatted us on the butt a few times though. I was an, "active" child, I know I deserved it. :p

My Mom has MS, and worked 2 jobs to help put my sister and I through college. She also was the 'main parent' because my Dad was/is an alcoholic - so she gave the love, and made sure he never had to do too much disciplining, which I thank her for :|
