That park bench on the back of the car could use an umbrella ... looks like you'd get sun burnt when you are chilling back there cookin up hotdogs and stuff.

It can not possibly be a wing ... 'cause wings provide down force and that would be stupid to put on a FWD car.

You know I could live with that car.

It has some very nice paint, and rims.

What really makes no sense to me is the BAW (Big @$$ Wing) I mean really, how much downforce can 4 1/4 screws handle?:D

92 notch I do believe they need that extra 1000 lbs of downforce that is achieved at .03 mph to lift the front end shortly after launch, which will in turn allow the motor to rev up to 18 000 Rpm so when it comes back down it will rocket "like a Bat out of Hell" down the track:stupid:

I truly would love to have a civic for a winter beater again, but for now I will stick with my low 14 second (hopefully high 13 second) 500 dollar beater mustang:p

Oh and by the way that is $500 Canadian or $326 USD:eek:

Those are dope rims. And once again, for all of those people who hate on imports with so-called "performance" mods like spoilers which serve minimal function besides to look cool.....

YOU'RE FREAKING MUSTANGS HAVE 3, count 'em, 3!!! FAKE SCOOPS FROM THE FACTORY!

So quit your hating and get back into your ram-air (oh, whoops, that hood scoop is blocked by an ugly black piece of plastic? so how's the air going to get into the ram air system? oh, its not a ram-air thingy? then what's it for, extra drag?) Mustangs and shush.

Wow.
As much as I love mustangs...
He has a point there.
Oh well... they may also be nonfuncional, but at least they look good, and are the same colour.

That's my point.

Hate on a car cuz it looks stupid in your opinion, but hating on a car and justifying it by saying that its a "non-functional" piece is just a load of baloney. Hell, more than half the car is non-functional if you think about it.

I don't like it, butI have seen much worse. So on the rice scale, with the exception of the wing it is pretty tame. Rims aren't bad, I would have to see them on another car however.

Um, on a ricer scale, that's about as modified as you get and still drive on the street.

Yes it is, but I like the color and the body kit is not insane. All I am saying is lose the pointless wing and it might be slightly acceptable. No stickers so I am just amazed at his unwilings to increase his horsepower.

Hey, most of the guys I know who have stickers on their street cars slap em on cuz they came with the aftermarket part that they bought.

But when I see a really nicely well-done import with a "roll-call," or in other words, that row of stickers going down usually the front side of his door, I pay a little more attention. Hell, if you're going to give me a free 800 dollar body-kit, I'll sport your sticker for you. Its almost surprising to see a very-modified import with no stickers. It means he's pissing off his sponsors, or he's got enough cash to buy all that stuff retail.

Bu that logic, I see a lot of nice clean 'Rods, Sport Trucks and Pony/Muscle cars without stickers. Are they pissing people off?

Also, how is that almost as modded as it could be and still be street legal? What else do people do to the show cars?

9 out of 10 Civics I see are 98% stock, yet have a million stickers on them. They are driven by high school punks, that no one likes. Not claimimg anyone here is, just the facts around me. I kid you not, there is some kid with a 4 door Civic with atleast 20 stickers on it and 2 tier wing:rolleyes:, a fart can, and lame rims, he also has the 'removed hood' mod so everyone can see... 'wow its stock,' with neon green wires.

Like I said, they're either pissing off sponsors or got the money to do it all themselves. One major difference with import show cars and a lot of really nice domestic show cars is the age of the owners. You don't see many 20 year olds rolling around in fully done up domestics, do you? All I know is I don't. But I can name a bunch of under-25 people who have at least 20 thou in mods on their cars, and almost all of them have some kind of sponsorship.

And as to the question of how can you have your car more modded than that? I've seen 4-door accords with the rear doors sealed and the top completely chopped off to make it look like a mini-Lincoln boat from the 70's. I'll try to find pictures of some of the crazier mods that I doubt the owners drive on the streets.
