that's gotta be the dumbest idea for a movie ever. how do you pitch that to a studio?

"so there's snakes on the plane! and... uhhh... snakes are scary. and planes are scary. so when you put snakes on a plane, they both get reealy scary! and, uhhh... we can have Samuel Jackson's one-dimensional acting inability, to add to the scariness. Yeah."

Those studios must be seriously desperate for ideas if they accepted this one.

Utterly shameful.

Jackson knows its a joke, but its so ****ing perfect for his angry type-cast charecter. It has a good chance of being the very first unintentional/kinda intentionally funny movie ever. In the manner that they know what there going for, but wont go to far either way, thereby giving off the perfect humor, if that makes sense.

And yes, I think its pretty well established that Jackson is doing the movie b/c of the title, and indeed was going to quit when they were going to change it to 'flight 137' or some shit.

I still can't believe it. They're promoting this movie like it's serious.

It's almost like some Hollywood movie studio execs made a bet on how ridiculous of a movie they could make and still manage to sell to audiences. It's a comedy alright, but the directors are the only ones laughing.
