16 blocks has been getting pretty good reviews, right?

and i gotta say... i'm psyched for ultraviolet. the effects and action scenes look pretty awesome... and its directed by kurt wimmer. (for anyone that saw equilibrium, you know its a huge plus.)

I've read decent reviews on 16 blocks. I suspect it will be pretty good for an action flick.

I know I saw equilibrium, but I can't remember anything about it at the moment. Ultraviolet I'm skeptical about, but I'm sure I'll rent it.

equilibrium was pretty fantastic. christian bale? sean bean? fighting the eeevil powers that control them? ring any bells?

i'm gonna make an effort to see ultraviolet this weekend. i've been pretty impressed with milla jovovich as an action star in her last couple flicks.

Yes, I remember it was christian bale, and it was sort of matrix-y, but I can't remember what I thought of it.

All these movies look like repeats of other movies... just change the script and the actors, but the plot is pretty much the same.
