The question is what do you consider a nice guy? I've never met a woman that wanted to date a push over which is what most women tend to consider the "nice guys." You mentioned dead beats but not necessarily if you were dating them, so it is difficult to answer your question.

How would you define a "nice" guy? Once you've determined exactly what that means (according to your standards), then we can examine whether that kind of guy fits your needs at all.

I see a lot of black and white here, something like, you're either a "nice" guy or a "deadbeat". And how can you generalize like this and say that a "bubbly personality" only attracts users? This must be coming from personal experience, so some of you here actually used women who had a happy-go-lucky personality. People who try hard to stay positive are harder to offend, most probably, makes it easier to dump them huh...

How to attract a "nice guy" . . . I suggest you get involved in activities that will attract non bar hopping guys. How about joining some sort of co-ed sports team or hanging out in coffee shops. I would also suggest book stores. Another quality way to find a cool guy is to ask your lady friends who know guys who know other guys ala a "blind date." Keep it within the network of people you know.
