The Carvin Bolt kit. Has all the parts for about $370.

Some key specs...
The Bolt has a 12" neck radius which is relatively flat like a Les Paul in contrast to a 9" radius commonly found in a Strat. A smaller neck radius in the higher frets increases the likelihood of "fretting out" (string hit other frets and stops vibrating) during bends.
Scale is 25 1/2 like a Strat which requires more string tension to achieve the same note in contrast to a Les Paul which has a 24 3/4" scale.
Frets are 22 medium jumbo .103" wide X .048" tall.
1.69" wide @ nut which is similar to a Les Paul in contrast to the narrower 1 5/8 commonly found on Strats, and it is 2.22" wide @ 22nd fret.
Locking tuners, which all guitars should have, cost extra. And there is not much choice regarding the pickups.
There is no finish on the neck so a do-it-yourself tung oil job or alternative would be necessary to prevent warping.
The Warmoth custom alternative...
This neck is available for $288.
Exotic woods such as Padouk shown in the pics do not any finish so there are none of the drawbacks of playing on a finished surface.
This one has a 1-11/16" nut width, Clapton contour which is a very subtle V shape which feels comfortable near the bottom of the neck, choice of several fret sizes, and it has a compound 10" - 16" radius fretboard which makes chording easy like a Strat and lead work does not fret out in the higher frets. It has a new neck relief adjustment system also.
So this neck is superior to the Carvin neck in wood used, neck shap and fretboard shape and fret size choice.

Warmoth has a lot of guitar bodies using exotic woods unfinished from $200-$400, but finishing can get very expensive since it is probably more difficult than shaping the wood for the guitar body. But here is a Strat body that is finished for $399.
