Didn't you just start the peace with Iran petition thread? And now you are supporting murdering terrorists? So which do you support, "peace" or murder?

People who murder and behead innocent civillians, women and children aren't freedom fighters. They're evil, ignorant, superstitious, cowardly barbarians.

The religious fanaticism makes the problem far worse than it would be otherwise. I watched a show last week where a journalist was allowed to do a story on a large number of Jihadists from several different factions. He was explaining how the majority of them really believe that they'll get their 72 virgins in paradise, and that many of them WANT to die specifically for that reason. He explained how the cultural sexual repression makes the situation even worse. Many of these guys have never even so much as kissed a woman, or even seen a woman "uncovered". And I don't mean naked. I mean that they have never even seen so much as a womans' hair. The fact that they're young and filled with raging hormones is a huge factor in what they're doing.

If someone could convince the masses in that part of the world that the 72 virgin story is a huge LIE (which it is), and get these guys laid a few times, the insurgency might come to an end on it's own.

The clerics who perpetuate this fairy tale must be aware of exactly what they're doing, and I'll never believe otherwise. It's only the 18 to 25 year olds who are out there killing themselves, while the older and wiser ones try to stay alive.

That in itself is a crime against their own people, but many of the insurgents themselves, especially those aligned with Al Quaeda don't care who they kill. They typically kill fellow Muslims and innocent Iraqui men, women and children in the name of their so called, imaginary "God".

Someone should start some sort of gigantic campaign to break this false belief system, and tell these people the truth. Maybe then they won't believe so much in what they're doing, and they can learn to think rationally instead of believeing in some far off, heavenly orgy. Until they do, they can't be negotiated with.

I wonder if they even realize that a virgin doesn't remain a virgin if they have sex with them one time, and that a LIVING body is required to have sex. Maybe they believe that they'll turn back into virgins every time or something. Either way, it's hard to comprehend that people can actually believe in such complete nonsense.

Sometimes it is murder, depending upon the circumstances. Murder, by definition is the taking of an innocent life. If a US soldier is being fired on, retaliates in self defense, and kills his attacker, it's not murder. If an Iraqui terrorist kidnaps a journalist and slices off his/her head, it is murder.

I was just watching some video of a female freelance journalist pleading for her life. She's unarmed, and hasn't threatened or hurt anyone. The deadline has already passed for her execution, but she' apparently still alive, but if she's eventually killed, it will be a murder.

They think America is there to steal their oil. Do they think Saddam Hussein was there to share it with them?
