These "I hate liberals" and "I hate conservatives" books are huge money makers due to their extremely low production costs.

Basically, all you need is (1) a name, and (2) a computer with Internet access.

Books by people like Ann Coulter, Al Franken, Bernard Goldberg, et al, can be written basically by copying and pasting comments from various "conservative" or "liberal" blogs on an endless stream of daily and trivial news "events," such as whenever some useless politician from either "side" (in quotes because there aren't really two sides at all; instead, there are competing PR campaigns) make a stupid remark. Then add a paragraph or two of "witty" comment, and you have a best seller that can be used as kindling in your fireplace next winter.

Guido, are you denying that liberals have gone kinda "crazy?" Just because the internet has made gathering facts very easy doesn't mean conclusions are less valid, ya retard.

Yeah, she's cute and tho I don't always agree with her, for the most part, I don't think her politics are too shabby, either.;)

If I were a hot chick, I'd be a shrill, hysterical, hate-filled witch so I could make millions, too. It's easy and profitable.

As is evident from her television appearances, she's just a total bitch - at least Anne Coulter has some social graces, if not her looks. :not:

I dont agree with everything she says but I admire her passion and her politics. Alot of people on the left dont like her because shes a minority conservative. And, no shes not a bitch.

Disagree - I've seen her speak several times & she was a bitch on wheels every time. Rude, arrogant & abrasive.

Were there people being rude to her or interrupting while she was speaking?

CowPunk

They were doing that in response to her behavior. They didn't do it to Coulter.

Guido, are you denying that liberals have gone kinda "crazy?" Just because the internet has made gathering facts very easy doesn't mean conclusions are less valid, ya retard.

If people like you didn't think of me as a "retard," I'd have to question my assumption that my understanding of the world is accurate and justified. So I'm not offended, and I'm sorry you earned a warning over nothing.

Apart from that, I don't think that you or Michelle Malkin (along with the rest of the drooling reactionary dittohead crowd) have any understanding of what liberalism is, or even any interest in the subject. For the most part, the word "liberal" as used by these people is just a label that they throw around in the course of a ridiculous and meaningless foodfight that is used as a marketing strategy to sell books and generate speaking engagements. This works not only for so-called "conservatives" (a word that has become as meaningless as "liberal" in this context), but also for the "liberals" they attack, such as Al Franken, Michael Moore and others who write books with lots of funny little pictures in lieu of thoughts. These people are not "crazy;" on the contrary, they are very good at what they do, which is to create publicity for themselves. I personally believe that these so-called "liberals" are actually agents of the political establishment, whose function is to reel in soft-headed progressive types so they'll give money to the worthless, gutless, intellectually and morally bankrupt Democrat Party so they can help useless unprincipled hacks like Hillary Clinton to public office.

The Bill Maher audience; her audience at her book signing in Austin; and one other one whose locality I've forgotten.

Michelle Malkin is smart and insightful, and a reasonably decent writer. I've seen her interviewed as well, and she comported herself quite gracefully.

I wasn't referring to you specifically any more than you were referring to anyone else in this thread specifically. If I make a general comment and you think it applies to you, that's your business.

I just think this "men are afraid of strong women" canard is an example of well-poisoning. It's a way of saying men can't have an opinion on certain matters, which tells you who's really afraid to engage on those matters. At best, it's akin to "playing the race card" - which some here have complained about even as they show no hesitation to "play the gender card" themselves. At worst, it is itself a sexist act. If I tried to say that a woman's opinion about men was worthless because she's a woman, that would correctly be condemned as a sexist remark. Why doesn't it work the other way as well?

Well, when I see Strong Opinionated Women villified for being themselves, I cannot help commenting upon the phenomenon.

I do believe I used the word Some, not All.

If they're bitches, and they're being themselves, are they being vilified for being themselves, or for being bitches?
