what are you five favourite black sabbath songs?

There are way too many great Sabbath songs to list. You are talking about the heaviest heavy metal band ever that was based on the work of the best riff monster in guitar history.

The songs A Hard Road, The Thrill Of It All stand out, but the albums Heaven & Hell, Never Say Die!, Technical Ecstasy, We Sold Our Soul For Rock 'N' Roll (compilation album), and Sabotage are essential for everyone's collection.

Rough question.

Black Sabbath is either my all time favorite band or in the top 5, depending on my mood. But if I had to sum myself up in one band, Sabbath is it.

This question is too tough, so I'll through out the first five songs that enter my mind as songs I'm partial to:
-Hole in the Sky
-Killing Yourself To Live
-The Wizard
-Lord of This World
-Jack The Stripper/Faeries Wear Boots

And I can't help but notice that not one of those songs is from "Volume 4", but I have to say that's my favorite record. It's the most consistent from beginning to end.

Jesus, seekerofvisions, I'm entirely thankful you started this thread. It's put me in the mood to dust off the Sabbath vinyl and they are my favorite band...because they are, I don't often feel like I need to listen to them because I know all their sh** note for note, but sometimes an injection of Sabbath is good for the soul and mind.
