Why doesn't bush understand he's in trouble?
Because I don't even think he understands that he's PRESIDENT.
Is this thing with that girl im kinda seeing going to work out? Should I find a more suitable girl?
That girl who suddenly lost contact with you before? And who has a boyfriend (currently)? I dunno. She kinda gives me the idea that she's not good with comitments. :hmm:
But it's your decision. If you think it'll work out, go for it! :nice: But if you're too uncertain, you may not want to.

Katalina 02-24-2006, 01:08 PM what's homeschooling like.. Do you like it? what's the laws for your state? Do you all still have to take state tests? What kind of subjects to you have?

50 years, goin' on 51! :D
:p
I don't think she's a Magic 8-Ball, dude. :p
I'm not? :( Dammit.
what's homeschooling like.. Do you like it?
I absolutely love it. Besides the fact that I can be lazy by doing my schoolwork in my pj's, I get more attention than I would in public school; my Mom could sit with me for hours to help me understand something, if I needed her to. :)
what's the laws for your state? Do you all still have to take state tests?
I'm actually not sure about all the laws; I know my mom had to register to homeschool me. Yes, I have to take tests at the Orton Academy at the end of every school year (usually in May or June--then I go on summer vacation).
What kind of subjects to you have?
Sometimes we don't do a bunch of different subjects in one day (sometimes I'll just focus on one all day long), but sometimes we do. Like, yesterday; I had to do a math work sheet, then watch "Mysteries of Asia" on the Discovery Channel. Then later I had to go on wikipedia.com and look up the "Patriot Act", "NAFTA" and "CAFTA".
Do you like pickles?:p
Omg I LOVE pickles.
igofast 02-24-2006, 03:36 PM Why are you pretending to be 13? :|

I dunno. :hmm:
I'd rather pretend I was 21. That'd be t3h shiat. :D :D :D
Why does no one here believe you are 13?
One person was just trying to get me worked up, and then other people started to believe her.
Spazola 02-25-2006, 10:51 PM *bump* :D
how's your little cousin doin'?
Spazola 02-25-2006, 11:16 PM how's your little cousin doin'?
Better. We had a bit of a scare the other day, though. His blood sugar got really REALLY low (they couldn't get him to eat any sweets; go figure), and he wouldn't wake up from his nap. :(
They finally got a hold of a doctor, though, who said to squirt icing (the kind you write with on cakes, ect.) into his mouth. He's fine now, and they found something he'd eat; ice cream. He's fine now. :)
He's also learing new words, like "why?" "bob" (for "Bob The Builder), and "boobie". :eek3:
yay! I'm glad he's doing better. :) Poor baby. :(
Myrddin 02-25-2006, 11:24 PM Does Spaz have any pets?

Criminal 02-26-2006, 01:37 AM A shunt regulator utilizes a zener diode whose voltage is 5.1V at a current of 50 ma and whose incremental resistance is 8 ohms. The diode is fed from a supply of 12 V nominal voltage through a 220 ohm resistor. What is the output voltage at no load?

loveblessing 02-26-2006, 05:46 PM One person was just trying to get me worked up, and then other people started to believe her. :shrug:What is wrong with her? Why would she be mean to a 13 year old girl?
Spazola 02-26-2006, 09:24 PM What is wrong with her? Why would she be mean to a 13 year old girl?
Because she's insecure about herself, and it makes her feel better to pick on someone smaller.
:p
R.Tricky 02-27-2006, 12:35 AM What is the average air speed of an unladen swallow?
If she would have gotten this I would have been either very impressed or very suspicious.
Criminal 02-27-2006, 08:53 AM My 14 year old daughter wants me to take her to see a concert. I think she is too young. Of course I would chaperon her. But still i don't know. SHe wants to see ether Death Cab for Cutie, My CHemical Romance or the Used. Do you think I should take her?

I went to my first concert when I was 11.
If you're going to be there, I don't see the problem.
Of course, you're the parent, so no one can make the decision except for you and her mother. ;)

You totally should. My Mom took me to my first concert at age 11. It was Rick Springfield and Til Tuesday :D She took me to a ton of concerts before I graduated High School, and I thank her so much for it. Concerts are my life, and she was a big part of fueling that fire for me :nice:
Criminal 02-28-2006, 08:13 AM I think you should. :)
Maybe for her 8th grade graduation I will. I don't know if Green Day will be touring but thats a group she and I both love. Also we both like Coldplay. But I think she really wants to see My Chemical Romance.

Well I would never trust her mother for anything. Her mother is stupid and totally irresponsible which is part of the reason we are not together.
I guess I wanted to get a young persons perspective so thats why I aked you.
I just don't want to be somewhere where all the kids are stoned and stuff. I remember when I was younger, you could get high just breathing the air at some of those shows.
cant advice you there, I dont know what its like at concerts in the US.
if it were here, then yea, you can cut the air with a pink elephant.
