Since yesterday, I can't save images from the internet! If I save them with FF, they don't even show up in the folder. If I save them with IE, they show up, but can't be opened. I can drag&drop to desktop and open there, but only there and can't move/change them.
I did a scan with Trend Micro HouseCall and it showed the vunerabilty in the title. I tried downloading the fixes and updates from Microsoft, but had trouble installing some of them (I didn't exactly buy my Win XP...). I googled and googled but found no solution.
Also, I still don't see how this could be related - I have problems with all types of image files.
Does anybody have any suggestions? I'm pretty desperate.

I can't believe this! The folder I was saving to had the letter "č" in the title. I changed it to "c" and problem solved. I have many folders with that letter and I never had trouble saving stuff to them. WTH??!
