Being alone (as in forever and ever--I'm fine with Me Time).

Going crazy--seriously. On Christmas day when I was 9 or 10, I was laying on the couch watching TV when I heard this strange noise. It sounded like card-board boxes on asphalt, so I thought someone was moving stuff around outside. I looked out the window--no one was out there. At one point I wanted to find the source of the noise so bad that I went outside and looked around for about 10 minutes. No one was out there.

After hearing the noise for about a half an hour I started crying until my mom came out to see what was wrong. I explained to her that I heard this noise, but couldn't figure out where it was coming from, and that I thought I was hearing things and was losing my mind. Then the noise happened again.
Me: See? Did you hear that, or is it just me? :(
Mom: *noise happens again* That? You mean the snow sliding off of the roof? :confused:
Me: *stops crying* Oh. Yeah. :|

Happend this last Christmas, too, only it was this high-pitched kind of melody noise. I started freaking out then, too, until my mom showed me that it was this Christmas decoration thing that played "Silent Night". :hmm: :p
