View Full Version : Serial Killer Fans, find solace here!
Redfield 05-21-2002, 03:41 PM I now know that I'm not the only one who holds a facination for serial killers and an admiration for the "great ones".
My top five list (no particular order):
Ted Bundy
John Wayne Gacy
Henry Lee Lucas
Andre Chikatilo (Citizen X)
The Zodiac Killer
I agree that Ted Bundy was the greatest. His cravings manifested themselves into some of the most baffling crimes and missing persons cases, prior to his confession.
Gacy was just super creepy, super psychotic, and still maintained his public image/alter ego of the upstanding member of society.
Henry Lee Lucas......freaky, that is all.
Chikatilo. You gotta give a tip of a hat to the Soviet Unions first proclaimed serial killer. This man made it a lifestyle of no regret. And was able to baffle the KGB and the Soviet Army.
The Zodiac Killer: C'mon, this guy's never been caught.
Next....
Miss Misery 05-21-2002, 03:58 PM Albert Fish was one sadomasochistic cannibal freak. His most well-known crime was the murder and consumption of Grace Budd in the early 1930's, but his letter to the girl's mother is truly ****ing sad:
"My dear Mrs. Budd,
In 1894 a friend of mine shipped as a deck hand on the Steamer Tacoma, Capt. John Davis. They sailed from San Francisco for Hong Kong China. On arriving there he and two others went ashore and got drunk. When they returned the boat was gone.
At that time there was famine in China. Meat of any kind was from $1 to 3 Dollars a pound. So great was the suffering among the very poor that all children under 12 were sold for food in order to keep others from starving. A boy or girl under 14 was not safe in the street. You could go in any shop and ask for steak -- chops -- or stew meat. Part of the naked body of a boy or girl would be brought out and just what you wanted cut from it. A boy or girls behind which is the sweetest part of the body and sold as veal cutlet brought the highest price.
John staid there so long he acquired a taste for human flesh. On his return to N.Y. he stole two boys one 7 one 11. Took them to his home stripped them naked tied them in a closet. Then burned everything they had on. Several times every day and night he spanked them -- tortured them -- to make their meat good and tender.
First he killed the 11 year old boy, because he had the fattest *** and of course the most meat on it. Every part of his body was Cooked and eaten except the head -- bones and guts. He was Roasted in the oven (all of his ***), boiled, broiled, fried and stewed. The little boy was next, went the same way. At that time, I was living at 409 E 100 st., near -- right side. He told me so often how good Human flesh was I made up my mind to taste it.
On Sunday June the 3 --1928 I called on you at 406 W 15 St. Brought you pot cheese -- strawberries. We had lunch. Grace sat in my lap and kissed me. I made up my mind to eat her.
On the pretense of taking her to a party. You said Yes she could go. I took her to an empty house in Westchester I had already picked out. When we got there, I told her to remain outside. She picked wildflowers. I went upstairs and stripped all my clothes off. I knew if I did not I would get her blood on them.
When all was ready I went to the window and Called her. Then I hid in a closet until she was in the room. When she saw me all naked she began to cry and tried to run down the stairs. I grabbed her and she said she would tell her mamma.
First I stripped her naked. How she did kick -- bite and scratch. I choked her to death, then cut her in small pieces so I could take my meat to my rooms. Cook and eat it. How sweet and tender her little *** was roasted in the oven. It took me 9 days to eat her entire body. I did not **** her tho I could of had I wished. She died a virgin."*
He also had children of his own, who he frequently abused but thought he was helping them because all of a sudden he became deeply religious, but his main area of focus was on stuff like sin.. he also made them flog him and stick a bunch of **** up his *** & around the general area.. an x-ray taken of his pelvic region shows a bunch of needles and stuff that he's had shoved up there...
I had a picture but tripod was being a ***** and not letting me use it, oh well.

u8nxprt 05-21-2002, 04:13 PM How old was the girl?
Sounds like that movie "Silence of the lambs".
Another story regarding cannibalism is the Donner party who were traveling by wagon to California and were trapped by a storm at Donner pass near lake Tahoe.
Miss Misery 05-21-2002, 04:15 PM Grace Budd was twelve years old at the time of her death.

The Donner Party was pretty gruesome. But I can understand, it was for survival. Fish was just trippy.

Yes, the Donners were cannibals not mass murderers. Legend has it that they eat those who perished. Sorry for moving off topic.
How about Jeffrey Dahmer... Now he was a murderer and a cannibal!!!
Unrepresented 05-21-2002, 05:13 PM Ed Gein, the numbers weren't on his side, but the perversion was. I'm gonna say that Gacy, the Killer clown was my other top pic. Dahmer was kinda cool in his own way too. Aside from the lovely cannibalism, he actually performed minor lobotomies to keep his victims as sex slaves.
Sweeeeeet!

Now that's the spirit, u8! You just picked one of the few "super-star serial killers". As Unrep said, this guy was even a "mad scientist" of sorts. I mean, man!...he had it all!
Gein, I like because of his lasting impression on our culture. Music, movies, books, and folklore. Now there's a serial killer with a contribution!:D
DJ NoDoz 05-22-2002, 12:40 AM these people are truly facinating examples of studies in true psycotic behavour. but im not a "fan" per se. im more intrested in how most of these sickos met or are going to meet their fate,(think jeffery dahmer) this is the kind of $hit i relish. true justice
Donny 05-22-2002, 03:14 AM We cant for get about Jim Jones!!!
Redfield 05-22-2002, 03:37 AM The freakiest thing about Jim Jones was that orangutan he kept around to frighten and punish the children. But true, he shouldn't be off of anyone's list.
Miss Misery 05-22-2002, 04:13 AM After thinking for a while (yep, stuff like that actually happens to me) I think it's not just how many people a person has killed (by definition a serial killer is someone who kills two or more people, right?).. but I'm really interested in how and when and where the person was murdered.. like Herb Mullin (I talked about him briefly in the other thread).. He killed 13 people, he was a nut case.. but apart from murdering a priest in a confessional.. he also murdered a woman named Mary Guilfoyle in the following manner:
" ...he struck her across the chest with it clenched in his right hand, the blade pierced her heart, killing her instantly. .. half an hour later he half-dragged and halr-carried the body down a shallow bank about 125 yards into a copse with a small clearing shielded from the road by brush and fallen trees.... Gently he spread her knees and knelt between his legs, he pondered where to begin..
..blood erupted through the light fabrics of her dress and panties as the blade sliced deeply across Mary's lower abdomen and then from her belly up to her sternum. The second incision cut cleanly through the center of her bra, exposing her breasts. He placed the knife on the dirt, his fingers slipped as he tried to pull apart the crimson muscle wall and blood flowed over his hands. He withdrew the stomach and part of the small intestine. He tried to find the liver and kidneys and then reached up under the rib cage. He felt a spongy mass and heard a gurgling as his fingers enountered the lungs.."
..alrighty.. that was from my book, the authors have all kinds of information about this because they actually interviewed Mullin.. wacky guy.

yeah, pretty much. I read that particular book (the die song) when I was a freshman in high school but I never got to finish it, so I just bought it recently.
Rayney 05-22-2002, 10:41 PM Im sticking with the majority here and saying the Ted Bundy was my favourite....and fairly good looking.
Others on my list are Aussie s.k.er's like:
The Burnies - lived in Perth in the 80's and murdered a whole bunch of girls.....they had to have separate cells in jail because of what the other inmates did to them. David Burnie ended up wioth a colostomy bag from the torture they inflicted on him.
Ivan Milat - Backpacker murderer
Theres others that come to mind but I can never remember their names!!
I have an old friend whose great great great etc. Aunt poisoned half her family or something....she was hung in our old jail (when they still did that.)
Redfield 05-22-2002, 10:59 PM One of my favorite (fictional) serial killers was in a movie with Stacey Keech and Jamie Lee Curtis. It took place in Oz. Keech was a trucker who was hauling pork to Perth.
That is all.
Rayney 05-22-2002, 11:16 PM Do you remember what it was called? And were there really bad Aussie accents in it?
Miss Misery 05-22-2002, 11:26 PM According to our good friends at the Internet Movie Database (www.imdb.com) the movie came out in 1981 and was titled "Road Games" : )
Redfield 05-22-2002, 11:43 PM Thanks, Miss Misery. You are a cornucopia of serial killer information.
Rayne, don't worry they played Americans in Oz.

...I was thinking about my visit to the MoD last year, and while this isn't really a serial killer's doing, i find it interesting nonetheless..
I suppose there was this case back in the 70's where a woman and her lover killed her husband because they suspected he knew of their affair. They laid out the plan and whatnot, and did what they did.. but they took pictures of it. the MoD had the pictures that they took...of the decapitated body and head.. with the man's on genitelia in his mouth, his foot in his mouth, a finger up his nose.. and they took nudie pictures with the body parts as well.. The only reason they were arrested was because their friend who was supposed to develop the pictures didn't place them in the little packets that they come in, and the person who did called the police and stuff... heh..otherwise they wouldn't have been caught.

MoD? Please explain.
Believe it or not, I've seen those pics before. Those two were just barbaric. They were messy and lost control of what they were doing.
Miss Misery 05-23-2002, 12:19 AM MoD = Museum of Death. It was originally established in San Diego but then moved up to Hollywood... now it's closed because they had problems with the landlord of the place where they were. It was so cool in there, I got to take pictures and stuff and I didnt know I was not supposed to... but I did!! Yep, I saw the pictures too.. they were in the hallway of the place. It was sooooo small. The website still works.. me thinks:
www.museumofdeath.com
and behold...ze ticket stub: :')

Rayney 05-23-2002, 12:49 AM I cant believe I forgot another favourite - Elizabeth Bathory!!
Miss Misery 05-23-2002, 12:54 AM WHOOOO! My dad has been to the chamber where they locked her up when he was in the military...well, in the ..you know..place where they locked up many people of her time.. hehe.. but if you speak of other killers in that sense... we musn't forget Vlad Tepes Dracula.. the man who would purify his land of the poor by inviting them to a feast in his castle, then locking the doors to the main room and setting fire to them.. he had a fondness of impaling too.
Rayney 05-23-2002, 01:02 AM Yummo ;)
So you have a fondness for unsolved killings (not necessarily serial killers?) I dont really....but the Jon Benet Ramsey case is intreging to me......
We also have a serial killer on the loose here now.....hes the Claremont Serial Killer (wooo they spent a while thinking of HTAT name Im sure). He has a thing for blondes....its quite tragic actually...you see the posters of these beautiful young girls all over the place and their families on the news etc and you know they are already dead. Thats the saddest part.
Miss Misery 05-23-2002, 01:09 AM Not just unsolved ones, but... just... death in general. I dunno, I like to read books on stuff like that or just...odd cases.. like the doctor who fell in love with a terminally ill patient and after her death he would visit her everyday at her family vault and stuff...until he took her home, and people would see him bring back cases of perfume and formaldehyde... and he even inserted a vaginal tube into her so that intercourse would still be possible and stuff.. ..things like that.

Albert Fish: A religious fanatic and sadist, early in childhood he developed an obsession with punishment. He secretly beat himself with spiked paddles. He also stuck needles into his groin and lighted alcohol-soaked cotton balls inside his anus.
Classy stuff.
Redfield 05-24-2002, 02:54 AM The History of the Green River Killings
Nearly 20 years ago, 49 killings occurred during a 3 year period. The case remains the largest known unsolved serial murder spree in the US.
The term "Green River killer" was coined because the first 5 bodies were found in or near Green River in Kent, south King County, WA in 1982. 37 victims were found on dry land. Off Star Lake Road on Kent's West Hill south of the Green River Valley is where 5 more victims were found. Other clusters of bodies were found near Sea -Tac, North Bend, Enumclaw, and OR. No one knows why the killings linked to the Green River seemed to have stopped sometime in 1984. Now they are not sure they did. Recent investigations indicate the Green River Killer reign of terror might have extended beyond the 1982 -1984 span and could have extended his crimes geographically as far as San Diego, CA, Portland, OR and Vancouver, BC. Ongoing investigations are looking for clues to link the crimes.
Green River Facts:
Of the 49 identified victims, 18 were under the age of 18, 12 were 18 - 20, and 15 were 21 or older and 4 sets of remains are not identified
The deaths were violent
The victims were females of all races
They either had connections with prostitution or were hitchhiking
Most victims were last seen alive around the SeaTac area, on Pacific Hwy. S
2 victims disappeared the same day 3 different times. No victims disappeared in January. Other bad weather months, October - March, 15 women disappeared. April - September, 30 victims disappeared. 7 women disappeared in October. July and August had 6 murders each. 4 women disappeared over 8 days in April 83
Most victims weren't found until the remains were only bones
Clusters of bodies were found
The bodies were found in wooded or brushy areas where trash is dumped illegally, near isolated roads with clear views, or in or near the Green River. Some close to residences in high traffic areas
The bodies were dumped, nude, partially or fully clothed
Some of the victims were posed
Bodies were concealed, not buried in deep graves
King County Court charged Ridgway on 4 counts of aggravated murder in the deaths of 4 women in the 1980s.
Denise Bush 's remains were found in 2 separate dump sites, hours apart from each other.
On November 30, 2001, Gary Leon Ridgway, a 52 year married man who had worked for the same company for 32 years was arrested for the murders of 4 of the "Green River Killer" victims.
Items found on or near several victims led some to believe the killings were religiously motivated. That runaways and prostitutes, were killed in the name of God. Bob Keppel calls that hogwash. "If he was doing that," Keppel said, "he didn't need to do what he did to those bodies sexually and after death. There's something else working there."
Investigator Bob Keppel believes if Ridgway is the Green River Killer, he never stopped. He took his killing elsewhere. There are 80 unsolved murders of young women between Vancouver, Canada and Portland, Oregon over the past 20 years. Gary Ridgway is a prime suspect in those cases.

There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman; some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me: only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable... I simply am not there.
