for escape,

and never again see sunlight.

Your only escape,
you didn't mourn her when
she faded away from you.

a small piece of you
did not die.

The darkness,
the black light,
it didn't consume you.
Strangle you.
Leaving you gasping for breath,
begging for mercy, begging to die.

and I'm glad this pain,
suffering,
and hurt
was not bestowed

The unrequited love
