I've all but sold my 32" Sony CRT HD set, and now I'm looking at buying a small lcd to use in the apt, then to move into the bedroom once we buy a house and I get a 55" or bigger :D

I've narrowed it down to two:

I realllly wanted this one when it was regular price of $999 and on sale for $899, but ****ing BB decided to jack the price up just before superbowl so they could put it on "sale" for $1239 :mad:

So, because of that, I"m looking at a 26" Shar Aquos with built in HD turner, HDMI and cablecard

Both about the same price, difference is I can buy one at BB and get more reward zone points :D

I feel that the Sharp will be a better quality TV, but the Westinghouse is a better value. I could go with the 27" Westinhouse for $899, but I just didn't care for it. The 32" was far suprior and I'm sure the Sharp will be > the others


I'll also be buying a 80 or 40hr TiVo. That kinda leans me towards the Westinhouse, since I can get them both at BB

I voted for the bigger one. Just go to Wal-Mart to get a TV.

Westinghouse. Size. I got the TV, its great. I have a 32 Aquous at work, it is jutst marginally better...

The westy is great...has a ****TY remote, so get a good universal. With all your av, you need a harmony anyways.

i vote the 32" sony CRT HDTV.... it will have have the best picture Quality of all three. IF i had to buy a backup, i would get the Sharp. i would do quality over quantity.

If you are planning on moving it into the bedroom at a later time, go with the Sharp - 32" is too big for a bedroom.

If you have the money to spend and you can wait, Samsung is coming out with a LED LCD tv I think in the 4th quarter that is supposed to kick butt.

Samsung is a good brand.

nah, need it now. I think I'm set on a 26" Aquos. I found one at CC for a good price. Will probably pick it up next week or after I move.
