He's doing SO much better. :) My uncle Eric tought us (Mom, Ama and I) how to mix the insulin and how to give it to him, how to check blood sugar (he used me to demonstrate), and about how much of certain foods Zeb's allowed to eat.
He was sleeping when we got there, but when Zeb woke up, he was laughing and doing his "ouch" thing (when he doesn't want you to touch him, he waves his arm around trying to hit you and goes "ooooooooowwwwww!" <3). I tickled his feet and he laughed, and when we had to go he said "bye-bye!" about half a million times. :p
The whole visit made me feel alot better than I have been, but then of course when we left it made me sad again (not nearly as bad as a few days ago, though). But I'm hoping that we'll get to go to the library soon, and then I can just absorb myself in a few books.
Last night sucked pretty bad. It started to seem like I was doing everything wrong; or my dad was just LOOKING for reasons to get mad at me. The first thing he did was start scolding me for being online (his favorite topic), so I had to sign off really fast before he got even madder (I couldn't even finish the post that I was typing up >.<). Then he got mad because I wanted to make chocolate milk, apparently because I don't eat healthy enough and I drink too much chocolate milk (it's only been this week that I've been drinking chocolate milk more often). What really pisses me off is that for most of my life his lunch has consisted of a bag of chips and coke, and that I eat WAY healthier than he does; for the past few weeks I've either eaten PB&J or cut up oranges for lunch, and other types of fruit inbetween meals. What leads him to believe that I don't eat healthy is that I hate to eat meat.
Now, whenever my parents cook roast beef or something for dinner, I eat it. I hate it, and I complain a little before hand, but I eat it. They say that I don't eat enough vegitables; You can't be a vegitarian without the "vegi" part!. This is totally untrue; I eat carrots and peas and green beans and regular beans and lettuce, and once, cooked SPINACH. The only vegitables they claim that I don't eat are ones that are NEVER in my house. If my mom were to try and get me to eat some squash or zuchini or something, I'd atleast TRY IT.
Parents just like to complain, I swear. :p
