im looking to possibly put a chip in my 2001 3.0L V6 Ranger, but im having a hard time finding a chip that works for that engine and year. does anyone have any suggestions on companies or anything? i hear that theyre only a few hundred bucks and they give you about 10 percent more HP and possibly better mileage, but im skeptical about it. anyone had experiences with these things?

I know my EEC tuner would work on it (for sale soon for $350 with gui pro software included) BUT I doubt it or any other chip would do much for power or milage on that truck. I would look the free up the breathing and exhaust and MAYBE find some March or ASP underdrive pullies to accomplish your goals.
