View Full Version : Confused
Mystlet 01-07-2006, 10:10 AM I can no longer use alt + 146 to type AeSiR's name...
in fact everytime I type alt + anything I am transported to the search page, or the main page.
It still works when I google (I just did a firefox update & assumed it was the culprit). I just tried it at the Gabshack, with the same results as here.
Any ideas? Anyone else have this problem?
it does that to me too. :(
æ æ æ
mine wont save in upper case - wierdness
Is one of your F (F1, F2, etc..) keys stuck somehow?

Mystlet 01-07-2006, 01:33 PM Yeah, i'm trying to figure out how to disable the keyboard shortcuts...

I have IE 6, but I haven't tried it with that. AOL uses Netscape, right? I know it's not working with that.

Mystlet 01-28-2006, 05:07 PM Is your number lock on?
Yes, but it doesn't matter if it's on or not, I've tried it both ways.

I know that, Mike, I poured over all that stuff when I first realized there was a problem.
BTW, I fixed that second link...

No_Brakes 01-29-2006, 12:44 AM Is your number lock on?
No, should it be!? :hmm:
Thanks to everybody else, but I don't have FF - I've got whatever the heck AOHell uses.
fat mike 01-29-2006, 12:47 AM To use the square keypad on the right, you need numlock-the numbers on top are always cool-but it's not as easy...
No_Brakes 01-29-2006, 12:49 AM Oh!
Thanks...remind me...um...tomorrow, maybe.....
(you're laughing right now, but at least I can still catch my typos! :D)
fat mike 01-29-2006, 12:52 AM You're doing fine,Sugar-you warned us earlier it might be like this...
No_Brakes 01-29-2006, 12:52 AM :)

That was what it was - numlock is always on - I had to use the one on the right.
Thanks! :nice:
Monster 03-18-2006, 08:50 PM *bump*
So, Alt + 1 refreshes the main page, and Alt + 4 takes the user to the DA search page when using FF 1.5.
Is this a vB code thing that can be fixed?
Mystlet 03-18-2006, 09:49 PM I just wish there was a way to disable the FF keyboard shortcuts. :(
