1. You can't make everyone happy
2. Don't end the night with a tall glass of scotch
3. Be careful with your cell phone

I ended up having a great night, but it went from a fun night with tons of potential to a botched night that was low key and fine to just a really great time with some great friends.

Ultimately, though, I learned I need to stop worrying about making everyone happy, because in the end, everyone isn't happy, I am not happy, and people are mostly in this half way state of happiness, no fun for anyone.

I ended the night with a Seven and Seven and then a tall glass of 'alright' scotch with Avi. Both did me in.

My cellphone has suffered damage beyond repair. I hope that Verizon will give me a replacement, at least once more.

There will be awesome and amazing pictures soon.

I hope you all have an amazing new years and continue to have love, health and prosperity in 2006.

Much love,
Manu

do you have a gas stove w/ a pilot? put the phone in there for 24 hrs or so. it'll dry it right out. won't save the lcd screens tho if water leaked into there... :hmm:

Yeah, looks like water got to the LCD, its a big LCD, Treo 600, going to try to get Verizon to RMA it, say "I don't know what happened" and go from there.

Make sure it's thoroughly dried out before you do that.
