From Steve Martin at Huffington Post....

"This year’s leap second is an assault on the American public," says commentator Bill O’Reilly. "The reason the leap second is even being proposed is because of America Haters, because of Iraqi hate mongers, and let’s be honest, Shiites. Why would you add a second to the year unless you’re an anti-American hate monger?

I remember liberals at a party saying, ‘let’s add a second to the year’ and I was the only one who spoke up against it. Why would they want to add a second to the year? Because it gives them a second longer to hate Bush.

If he actually said that he must be sharing pills with Rush Limbaugh.

If he actually said that he must be sharing pills with Rush Limbaugh.

There is no evidence O'Reilly said that. It is a feeble, ridiculous attempt at satire by an unfunny "comedian" by the name of Steve Martin who used to do stand up with a banjo and a fake arrow through the skull. People quoting idiocy on some of these blogs is just as bad as quoting from the communist sites; a waste of time. http://www.world-of-smilies.com/html/images/smilies/alien/alien373.gif

Well, yeah, but Snouter, what about Steve's natural talent for tap dancing?

Huh? Now everybody is tap dancing.

And what about the time he appeared on stage without his trousers? A scream, Snouter, ya gotta admit.

And hey, what about his precedent shattering portrayal of DeBergerac as a fire chief?

And don't forget his novels. Like everybody else has.

Do you remember that stupid King Tut song he did? I guess that was not as bad as Eddie Murphy doing a dance song of some kind. The "wild and crazy" guy schitck he did on SNL was depressing.

A very little Steve Martin goes a very long way. I did like the skit where they shocked themselves with the crank-operated dildoes.

In Planes, Tranes, and Automobiles, Steve Martin was a scream.

That could be the most important movie of its decade...

It would be a leap to think Bill said that, it is funny too.
